“Me la ricordo come una giornata felice” by Roberto Racca
The book to put under the tree? This year our choice falls on an "artist's book" which interweaves fragments of life with tales about wine, accompanied by eleven works by Annalisa Bollini dedicated to the "states of the soul".
"Me la ricordo come una giornata felice - I remember it as a happy day. Pages of vines and wines" is the title of the book written by Roberto Racca, consultant and adviser to some important Italian wineries, a profound connoisseur of the international wine map, one of the most precise and encyclopaedic tasters of wine.
"Life and great wines. Feelings and experiences. The vineyards, the hills lashed by oxygen, imagination and wind; the secular cellars, the vaults, the precious bottles." Roberto Racca has intertwined his own existential story with a collection of unforgettable wine experiences. In particular, a chapter is dedicated to le Marche, the Bernetti family and Campo San Giorgio. Here is a small excerpt.
"Great wine is all enclosed in a moment. An indecipherable temporal limbo, a marvellous mixture of abandonment and light transcendence, of inspiration and heightened sensitivity, an ephemeral, light and celestial point of no return."
The book, published by Allemandi Esplorazioni, is available in bookstores and in our Wine Shop in Osimo!
