Milan, Charity Dinner in support of the Itaca project with the Istituto Grandi Marchi

Umani Ronchi, together with the Istituto del Vino Italiano di Qualità - Grandi Marchi, supported the Itaca Milano Project on the sixth edition of the charity dinner "Il Bel Viaggio" held at the Pirelli Hangar Bicocca.

Itaca Milano is an association that has been supporting people affected by mental health disorders and their families for 25 years.

The charity evening of 18 June, realised with the support of the Paolo e Giuliana Clerici Foundation, saw 500 attendees; the live charity auction conducted by Fabio Bertolo from the Finarte auction house featured 19 lots donated by the 18 companies that are part of the Istituto Grandi Marchi. Among the lots, our Pelago 2001 in a 3-litre format stood alongside prestigious bottles, private winery visits, and exclusive experiences in some of the most beautiful wineries in the world.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to Progetto Itaca's initiatives and will fund the Club Itaca and Job Stations projects, two organisations dedicated to developing the social and work autonomy of people suffering from mental health issues.

Once again, the cultural value of wine, its ability to attract, aggregate, foster social cohesion and conviviality has contributed to achieving a small but significant result. We are delighted to have supported this important initiative.
