Decanter includes Umani Ronchi in the supplement regarding Italian wines – Feb 2016
“Thinking big” is the title of an interesting article realized by Tom Hyland for Decanter, in which he analyses twelve wonderful wines produced by great Italian winemakers. Between the whites he also selects Verdicchio, a peculiar wine from Marche that from his point of view is very well represented by Umani Ronchi winery.
Plenio, Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva, that partly ages in oak casks, is for Hyland the best expression of this typology of wine and gives to it the great score of 92/100 points.
