Italian Sommelier Association, Giacomo Tachis and Pelago

On February 4th, 2022, Italian Sommelier Assosiation (AIS) organized an incredible and unique tribute to Giacomo Tachis, the master wine maker passed away in 2016.

There 6 of the most important wines created by Tachis and in particular  Sassicaia, Tignanello, San Leonardo, Barrua, Turriga; we were there with our Pelago, the blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Montepulciano created by Tachis and Massimo Bernetti in 1994. That incredible first vintage won in London the International Wine Challenge as best wine of the world.
