Vitigno Italia 2014. Grand Gold Medal to Maximo 2010

Just ended in Naples the 10th edition of “Vitignoitalia”, during which have been distributed awards to the best Italian wine productions. This year tasting experts together with European School Sommeliers’ and Fisar’s supervisors examined more than 300 wines ending with selecting only 39 as best examples of the whole Italian wine production. Our Maximo Sauvignon Blanc 2010 has been awarded in the dessert wine category with the "GRANDE MEDAGLIA D'ORO" (the great golden medal), the very top award. Maximo is a wine that impresses for its class and that combines a low alcohol level with just a hint of sweetness. Its grapes grow on the highest part of Villa Bianchi estate, on the Verdicchio district.
