Red wine in the summer, our list!

If summer is associated with rosé, white and sparkling wines, reds are increasingly conquering an interesting space on Italian tables during this season. It is important to take some extra care, starting with the serving temperature.
Here are three deep and pleasant wines, with different styles, to try alongside grilled meats, fish soups (and not only), with some tasting suggestions.

Pelago
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Merlot
Three brushstrokes in shades of blue and light blue already create an essential but effective marine horizon on the label, reinforcing the harmony between the wine and the Adriatic Sea, with a suggestive evocation of nature and the atmosphere. An intense, clean, refined taste, to be experienced even in summer.
Recommended pairing: Grilled meat
The ideal temperature in summer:
16-18°C
Winemaker's notes: The colour is an impenetrable ruby red with purple reflections. Intense, clean and refined aromas are released on the nose: spicy fragrances of coffee, black pepper, licorice and tobacco that open on a base of grass and hay typical of Cabernet. On the palate there are notes of berries, vanilla and mineral aromas; important but evolved tannins, with taste sensations in harmony with the great elegance of this wine.

San Lorenzo
Grape variety: Montepulciano 100%
The ideal temperature in summer: 16-18°C
Recommended pairing: Fish soup
How to serve it: Goblet of medium size and roughly spherical shape, to allow adequate oxygenation and development of the aromas.
Winemaker's notes: Brilliant ruby red colour with garnet tints; sweet nose, mainly fruity with typical notes of morello cherry. Rich and pulpy in the
mouth, flavourful and pleasantly harmonious, with silky tannins. The long finish is austere and intensely fruity.

Podere
Grape variety: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 100%
The ideal temperature in summer: 18°C
Recommended pairing: Seafood Paella
How to serve it: Goblet of medium size and roughly spherical shape, to allow better appreciation of the complex aromas.
Winemaker's notes: A young and immediately drinkable wine: ruby red colour with violet tints. Delicate aromas of plum and cherry. In the mouth it is robust and full-bodied, slightly tannic with a dry and flavourful finish.
