Umani Ronchi and its Mutual Exchange with the Territory by Civiltà del Bere

On the pages of Civiltà del Bere, Michele Bernetti speaks about territorial identity, a commitment to change, and how this mutual exchange with its homeland has led Umani Ronchi to constantly seek new expressive paths for its wines:

"Over time, Umani Ronchi has absorbed the qualities of this land, the industriousness of its people, and its agricultural vocation. But I believe it has also given back a great deal, with its philosophy rooted in the pursuit of quality and a willingness to embrace new challenges."

One example is Verdicchio Vecchie Vigne Historical, which, in just its second vintage (2019), has become one of the most awarded wines by Italian wine critics. It is also among the wines recognised by Civiltà del Bere, which returns to Milan on 10th March with the 2025 edition of Simply the Best—the prestigious event bringing together Italy’s finest wines at the NationaL Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci.
