Umani Ronchi, Winery of the Year 2024 by Gambero Rosso, was the Wine Partner of "Central" (Lima, Perù) by Virgilio Martinez, n.1 restaurant of The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023, during the gastronomic festival Buonissima organized in Turin, Piedmont.
Virgilio Martinez, the most important chef of the Latin American gastronomic landscape, reached the peak of the Best 50 with his Lima restaurant, Central, and his projects in the Andean area, MIL and Mater Iniciativa. During the Gala Dinner organized in Turin in October 26th, 2023, he presented his Altitudes menu paired with four wines of our winery. It was a full experience for all senses and the combination of the ingredients, coming from the different altitudes of Perù, and some of our most important labels was unique and unforgettable. A unique night with 120 lucky gourmet lovers that share the charming and elegant table with Ferran Adrià, special guest of the evening.
