Around the world with Umani Ronchi: this time in the vibrant and eccentric London

In such a unique and fascinating context, where, together with the English language, you come across a thousand of other languages and cultures, it’s quite impossible not to feel a bit at home.

Between ancient and modern, among historic pubs and avant-garde restaurants, in the beginning of February we have brought our wines in London, in the center of different contexts but all so interesting and appealing.

We have participated at the Enotria & Coe Showcase 2018, held at the beautiful Saatchi Gallery, an exclusive space where our wines have been inserted amid paintings and works of Art. An exceptional tasting, which has been a great success and that has registered many people.

In the evening, together with some Scottish friend and our Plenio and Cùmaro, we have been at the Hawksmoor at Home, a classic English restaurant, with soft lighting, dark furniture and antique perfumes. In the following days, under an unusual and beautiful blue sky, we continued our visit with a lunch at the Italian and elegant Enoteca Turi in Pimlico Road, where our Cùmaro has been paired with excellent traditional Italian dishes and then at the Mortimer House Kitchen restaurant ,in the Fitzrovia district, place that celebrates a spicy-fusion-cuisine, that connects Italian ingredients with nostalgic aromas of distant places.

We concluded our London trip at the Royal Horticultural Hall, in the Westminster area, for the English day of Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso 2018. We joined this engaging and dynamic event with our Centovie, Vecchie Vigne and Cùmaro.
