Centovie project is enriched with the new Montepulciano d’Abruzzo organic

Vinitaly is always the best occasion to introduce new ideas and to bring all the passion we feel for our land. This 2019 edition is the ideal occasion to introduce our new Montepulciano d'Abruzzo organic, a wine that completes Centovie's project (started with Pecorino and Rosato): a name that reminds us a very special place, with a beautiful view of Gran Sasso mountain. This landscape has inspired the Bernetti family as much that years ago they imagined and then realized a project aimed to enhance this territory and its ampelographic varieties.

"Vinitaly has always been one of the most important events of the year - says Michele Bernetti - the moment when we start business relationships, we meet our partners, we consolidate our collaborations. This edition is also the occasion to present our latest challenge: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Centovie, a product that completes a range of wines for which we have made many sacrifices. The plan has been and still is very simple: a work of commitment, coherence and respect in order to leave a sign in the wine history of the exceptional Abruzzo territory”.

Centovie Montepulciano is a wine that was not there and does not look for emulations, but above all it is the personal interpretation of a vine and a land.

Of an intense ruby ​​color with purple hues, it has an important perfume with hints of black cherry, licorice and spices. The taste is complex and well balanced between freshness and tannins. It ages partly in large wood and partly in small one. Great with red meats, game‐birds and mature cheese.
